Serafina, Mia, Elorah, Lulu, Aimée, Gabriel, Zaylie, Jai, Maiyan, Cole, Ozzy, Lila, Indigo, Komii, Clove, Ben and Nomi, students of The Grove Community School, act as interviewees or social actors in the documentary. They transmit to the audience an articulated speech, presenting themselves as natural pedagogues, with perhaps a deeper understanding on the subject, that we adults have. On the other hand, the pedagogy behind the need to teach students to examine gender closely and to challenge gender stereotypes through games and school activities, is well illustrated by the teachers and the school principal. Participants in the documentary show how the Gender Splendour week program promotes mental health, community activism, and social justice.
