Support
The production of the footage (interviews and B-Roll) for the documentary was initially funded with personal resources. An attempt was made to raise funds through the GoFundMe platform. Satena provided support by covering some of the necessary trips to Quibdó. Later, the Alliance for Responsible Mining stepped in at a crucial moment to hire a person who cataloged part of the footage and organized a private screening with experts from the mining and policy-making sectors. Other entities generously offered support in various ways. Finally, thanks to a grant from the Canada Arts Council, the documentary was postproduced. It was distributed in Colombia with the support of the Fondo para el desarrollo cinematográfico.
